| terms and conditions are absolutely horrendous. if you cancel within 7 days, you lose it all. due to a flight cancellation, we couldn't go on our holiday. I expected to lose 1 night, as you would if you booked directly to a hotel, but alpharooms took it all. first and last time user. I'm appaled this actually is legal!! |

| We booked with alpha rooms over the phone for a surprise birthday treat for my husband and 4 children. 27 of our friends and family also booked the same hotel in santa ponsa majorca for the same week as a surprise for my husbands birthday. 4 days before we were due to fly I rang the hotel to book an additional cot for one of the rooms only to be told there was NO booking for ourselves and family made! Alpha rooms had messed up the order and originally denied responsibility causing great anguish for the whole party who had rooms booked by a different company luckily. There were no rooms left at the hotel as it was Easter week so we were offered a much lower grade hotel on the other side of the resort with a nightclub underneath, not good as we have a 9month old baby! We now have the trauma of trying to find other accomodation 4 days before flying which is proving difficult, not to mention it has also spoiled the whole reason for us all going away as we are now going to be seperated from our friends and family instead of celebrating with them. Not a recommended company!! |
