| Bought a laptop I had been after for some time from this company, and called them to benefit from their 'Low cost memory upgrade' - but did my research before-hand. I was informed of the cost of this upgrade, and declined it due to the expense. Ram isn't that tough to fit, let's face it. Got laptop a few days later (despite 17.50 delivery charge) and discovered it had extra RAM installed. I also found that the processor was not the one advertised on their site! Found out a day later that they had taken nearly £70 more than the agreed price for the notebook. Called up, on hold for ages, gave up. Emailed the 1st of some 30+ emails to date, and it was decided to return the laptop for replacement/refund. I instructed them to remove the RAM and refund me the difference. Too simple. Weeks down the line, they still have the laptop, finally instructed them to give up and refund. Refund is now subject to contest as they are refusing to refund my delivery fee, despite it being their fault. Trading Standards now involved to recover same. Bascially, avoid this mob like the plague. |
