| Unfortuantely, the people who represent Au Courant (a great US company) in the UK, are in my opinion, absolute clowns. The UK delivery base is a site based in Ireland -- www.aucourant.ie. Known issues: * Website loses orders. No e-mail to inform customers. * Terrible communications. 1 sentence replies, poor explanations, grammar, spelling. Replies liek, "sorry, that item was o/o/s". OK -- "what are you going to do about it?" is the customer's response. No options are given, and you have to coax a solution out of them. Oh, and for clarity purposes, O/O/S means Out of Stock. * Deliveries have missing items. * Don't reply to e-mails when querying missing items. For internet businesses, it doesn't get much worse than that. My advice: save up for a large order (think of everything you need), and order direct from the US site. This should help off-set larger delivery costs. |
