| Internet Cameras Direct Review by Gerry Rice | ||||||||||
| I returned a faulty fuji f810 to the company and have waited 5 weeks so far and I understand that it could be an additional 4 weeks before it is returned. I will not hold my breath. The telephone is continually engaged and the after sales service is none existant DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY |

| This is a copy of an e-mail sent to InternetCamerasDirect: Attention of Customer Services Director / Managing Director (Hopefully they will read and reply (?) to this and it won’t end up being dealt with by a lesser mortal) Customer number: xxxxx Order number: 88xxxx I recently made the above purchase from you and received the Camera (Sony DSC-W5) within a few days. However the balance of the order is outstanding. The purpose of this e-mail is to make you aware of the saga relating to this balance. On receipt of the camera I e-mailed you (03/08 20.15) to enquire about the balance and then after checking my credit card realised that you had charged for the full amount even though you had not delivered all the goods. I therefore e-mailed you again (03/08 20.20) to remind you of the situation. In shear frustration I have e-mailed you twice more and attempted to telephone you. As of this moment other than you annoying “automatic” responses stating “We will deal with it as soon as possible. -Best wishes. The Nomatica team.” I have heard nothing. All I require as a customer is service and information. I don’t feel this is too much to ask. Can you supply the outstanding goods – If so / when? If not – just tell me / credit my card and I’ll go elsewhere. Simple really? You should be aware of the following: * Your prices are great * The music on hold is really nice * Your on-line “tracking system” never worked for me – (I even e-mailed you about this – guess what no reply) * No information on My Orders page * History – seems to be OK * No e-mail / information re tracking number. Therefore link to Initial City Link no use. * Invoice makes no reference to “balance of order to follow” * E-mails – No point in having this facility if you do not fully answer within a reasonable time – say next working day. (Please don’t tell me you get thousands of e-mails and it’s a problem. Get the staff to deal with it.) * Phone – Premium number 0870 – usual long introduction message (helps make a few pence more!!) and a repeated message (every 15 seconds!!!) that tells me how wonderful I am, how much you need me and will deal with me “shortly” then keeps me waiting forever – two attempts to phone abandoned – after 5 mins and 10 mins. Ever tried getting more line and more staff. This not the ranting of some demented individual but a customer who has dealt with you in the past and would like to feel he could do so in the future. Based on your record to date I am not confident that I will hear anything from you but if you would like to contact me I can be reached on 07946 xxxxxx (If by chance I’m not available then leave a message and a number (not 0870!!), I’ll always get back to you.) Michael Kaye Shopper UK - you need to add a quastion on Customer Service - (Non Existantin this case) |
